Welcome to Old Station 31 Spirits; where family, tradition, and the spirit of service come together in a unique and fiery blend. Founded by Rob Hopfensperger, a dedicated firefighter on the Town of Dale Fire Department, our distillery has a story that’s as rich as the spirits we craft.

Our journey begins with the historic fire station that now houses our distillery. Built in 1938, by local residents, businesses, and firefighters, it served as a hub in the community until 1989. During those 51 years, many traditions were forged and human spirits were tested. Tragedies were experienced and shoulders were leaned on. Community service was born, and commitments transformed into passion. Today, we honor that legacy by preserving the building and the memories it houses
